Facebook: hide the post composer
Removes the "What's on your mind?" box above the feed to discourage impulsive posting.
Code to copy
// Hide the "What's on your mind" post composer box at the top of the feed
function hideComposer() {
const labels = ["What's on your mind", 'Co Ci chodzi po głowie', 'Was machst du gerade',
'Que voulez-vous dire', 'A cosa stai pensando', '¿Qué estás pensando',
'Что у вас нового', '在想什么'];
labels.forEach(function (l) {
document.querySelectorAll('[role="button"]').forEach(function (el) {
if ((el.textContent || '').indexOf(l) !== -1) {
let box = el;
for (let i = 0; i < 5 && box.parentElement; i++) { box = box.parentElement; }
box.style.display = 'none';
}
});
});
}
hideComposer();
new MutationObserver(hideComposer).observe(document.body, { childList: true, subtree: true });
