Terms of Service
1. Definitions
- Service — the JustZix Chrome extension along with the accompanying backend available at
www.justzix.com. - Service Provider — the operator of the Service, contact: support@justzix.com.
- User — a natural person using the Service.
- Account — an optional sync account associated with a sync key.
2. Acceptance of terms
By installing the extension and/or creating an Account, the User accepts these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If the User does not agree with any provision — they should not use the Service.
3. Scope of service
The Service enables:
- Injecting custom CSS and JavaScript code into any web page in the Chrome browser.
- Synchronization of rules between the User's devices (after creating an Account).
- Time-limited sharing of rule sets via a public link (after creating an Account).
- Automatic backups of account state.
Use of the local features (rule injection only) does not require an Account.
4. Rules of use
The User undertakes to:
- Use the Service in accordance with the law and good practices.
- Not use the Service to create or distribute malicious code (malware, phishing, data theft, cryptocurrency miners, exploits).
- Not inject code in a manner that violates the terms of service of third parties (e.g., circumventing security, automation prohibited by the regulations of a given site).
- Not share links containing malicious content or content that violates third-party rights (copyright, personal data, content prohibited by law).
- Not attempt to violate the security of the Service (DDoS attacks, brute-force, attempts to gain unauthorized access to other Users' accounts).
- Not circumvent limits (rate limit, share/backup quota).
5. Liability for injected code
The User bears full and exclusive responsibility for the CSS/JavaScript code they inject using the Service.
- The Service Provider does not analyze, verify, or execute the User's code on the server side. The backend only stores the code as data.
- The code injected by the extension runs in the User's browser, in the context of the visited page — with full consequences for privacy and security.
- If the User imports a rule set from another User (e.g., via a share link), they are obliged to independently verify the code before activating it. The extension shows a warning if the set contains JavaScript code.
- The Service Provider is not liable for damages caused by code injected by the User or by code downloaded from a share link.
6. No availability guarantee (no SLA)
The Service is provided "as is" — without a guarantee of continuous operation. The Service Provider makes efforts to ensure high availability, but does not guarantee a specific SLA. Temporary interruptions (maintenance, updates, infrastructure failures) are permitted.
7. Right to suspend or remove an account
The Service Provider reserves the right to:
- Temporarily suspend the Account or remove content — in case of violation of the Terms.
- Permanently remove the Account — in case of gross violation (criminal activity, mass abuse, threat to the security of other users).
- Automatically remove an inactive Account — in accordance with the procedure described in the Privacy Policy (90 days for accounts without an email, 12 months + 30 days grace for accounts with an email).
8. Account deletion by the User
The User may delete the Account and all associated data at any time using the "Delete account" function in the extension or by contacting the Service Provider. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
9. Intellectual property
- The JustZix extension along with the backend are the property of the Service Provider.
- Content created by the User (CSS/JS rules, labels, folder layout) remains the property of the User.
- By sharing a rule set via a public link, the User grants the Service Provider a limited, free-of-charge license to store and serve this content solely for the purpose of providing the "share via link" function.
10. Complaints
Complaints concerning the Service should be directed to: support@justzix.com. The Service Provider considers complaints within 14 days.
11. Changes to the terms
The Terms may be amended. The Service Provider will announce material changes on this page at least 7 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance. A User who does not agree with the changes has the right to delete the Account.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
In matters not regulated by the Terms, Polish law applies, in particular the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services and the Civil Code. Disputes arising from the use of the Service are resolved by the court with jurisdiction over the Service Provider's seat, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
13. Final provisions
These Terms are effective from the date of publication on the website. The current version is always available at www.justzix.com/en/terms.
