VS Code Web: auto-focus the editor

Moves focus to the editor right after page load so you can type immediately (works on github.dev too).

Code to copy

/* Auto-focus the editor area on load instead of the Welcome page (works on github.dev too) */
(function () {
  const tryFocus = () => {
    const editor = document.querySelector('.monaco-editor textarea.inputarea');
    if (editor) {
      editor.focus();
      return true;
    }
    return false;
  };
  if (tryFocus()) return;
  const obs = new MutationObserver(() => {
    if (tryFocus()) obs.disconnect();
  });
  obs.observe(document.body, { childList: true, subtree: true });
  setTimeout(() => obs.disconnect(), 8000);
})();
