Outlook: outline app sections

Wraps each labelled app section in a dashed outline and shows its name as a tooltip to help write selectors.

Code to copy

// Outline every labelled app section to inspect the Outlook layout
function outlineRegions() {
  document.querySelectorAll('[data-app-section]').forEach(function (el) {
    if (el.dataset.jzOutlined) { return; }
    el.dataset.jzOutlined = '1';
    el.style.outline = '1px dashed rgba(220,0,120,0.6)';
    el.title = 'app-section: ' + el.getAttribute('data-app-section');
  });
}
outlineRegions();
const obs = new MutationObserver(outlineRegions);
obs.observe(document.body, { childList: true, subtree: true });
