JavaScript Ads & clutter google.com

Google: remove sponsored-labeled results

Finds blocks labeled as sponsored and removes them, also clearing the classic ad containers.

Code to copy

// Remove any result block explicitly labeled as sponsored
function dropSponsored() {
  document.querySelectorAll('#rso > div, #tvcap > div').forEach(function (el) {
    const t = (el.textContent || '').slice(0, 40).toLowerCase();
    if (/sponsored|sponsorowane|gesponsert|anuncio|annonce/.test(t)
        && el.querySelector('a')) {
      el.remove();
    }
  });
  const ads = document.querySelector('#tads, #tadsb, #bottomads');
  if (ads) { ads.remove(); }
}
dropSponsored();
const obs = new MutationObserver(dropSponsored);
obs.observe(document.documentElement, { childList: true, subtree: true });
